GB welcomed local families to Trinity church to take partin the Christingle Service on the 18th of December. It was great to see child, parents and grandparts taking part in
this very interactive service led by our minister Revd Trish Davis. Earlier in the month, the girls took part in the Nativity Service, retelling the Christmas story and donating toys and
Chrismtas gifts for local children and young people.

20 members of our company represented our GB company at the Totton remembrance parad, with older members proudly carrying our company colour and laying a wreath in remembrance of all those who
have given their lives in times of war and conflict.

A retiring collection raised over £80 towards Water Aid.
Totton /carnival 2018 - We won the carnival cup for best float! A few girls from 2nd Totton company joined us for our 1920's themed float. Thank you to the leaders and parents who helped the girls
to decorate the float and dress in costume - you looked great. Special thanks to Allison and Rachel for their hard work and Pete Lewis for use of his trailer and towing it in the carnival - great
June 2017 - for several months leaders, girls and parents prpared decorations for our entry into this years Totton Carival. The theme was "Animal Crackers" so naturally we built
an Ark and the girls dressed as animals. This year we were joined by girls from 2nd Totton company, so our float was full and older members walked behind the float, collecting coins that had been
missed. Although we didn't get a prize this year, our float certainly stood out, was featured in the local paper and received many compliments.
Many thanks to everyone who took part either in the planning or on the day for all your support. We are keeping the frame for next years entry - hopefully! Special thanks goes to Peter Lewis for
lending us the trailer free of charge, Mike Joyce who so carefully towed it in the carnival and Rachal Hickman allowing us to use her barn to build it. We couldn't of done it without you
May 2017 - Our fundraising cream tea raised over £250 towards our GB company funds. We were blessed by a lovely afternoon and able to make use of the public Plaza just outside
Trinity church in West Totton. Many members, their families, former members and friends from Trinity Church came along to support us. It was a very busy afternoon. Special thanks to the leaders who
hand made about 200 scones from scratch, poured endless pots of tea and washed countless plates and dishes. Some of our older girls also played a valuble part by serving and collecting the plates -
well done everyone and thank you to those who came for your support. We hope you enjoyed it. Unforunately, we were so busy, we didn't have time to take photo's.
March 2017 - National Music Festival: Congratulations to everyone who took part in
the music festival this year! We may not have come away with quite as many trophies or medals as last year, but the leaders were all very proud of everyone who took part. Our choir sang their socks
off , Emma Chester gave a fantastic rendition of Aladdins “Whole new world” which won her a trophy, Caitlyn Baker and Rebecca Sargent sang a lovely duet and Caitlyn also sang a solo song
Explorers did a wonderful job playing the handbells on some very difficult tunes and Seniors brought home a medal for
their percussion with broomsticks! Yes Broom sticks.
Even if you didn’t get a trophy or medal, we hope you had a great day and thank you all so much for taking part.
Special thanks to Carole Lilly for organizing the entries, Violet Osman, Matt Stewart and Allison Head for all their help and support in preparing for the event.
Missed out hearing the girl’s achievements?
