The Brigaders are the oldest members of the company, starting at 14 years of age or school years 10-13. They can work towards 3 seperate awards. The Brigaders Brooch, Young Leaders Awards and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

To obtain their Brigader Brooch, the girls follow the n:spire programme, choosing the Badge topic from a number of "Channels" they then decide how they will complete the project.

The Brigader section is currently lead by Jan McCarthy and Margaret Woodbury

Current Uniform: Purple GB poloshirt, Navy GB Hoodie, black trousers, trainers

Brigaders recently used the Wii computer games to get fit for their Physical Badge.

They had fun and personal development in discussion on relationships and sexual health for their Education Badge . The Young Leadership training programme contributes towards their Service Badge and weekly discussions and sharing of views and ideas of Christain faith contribute towards their Spiritual Badge.

Our Brigaders can work towards their Duke of Edinburgh Awards. The award is divided in to 4 sections; Skills, Volunteering, Expedition and Physical and fits in well with the Brigader Brooch award and Young Leadership programme.

Some of our Brigaders recently commenced their Bronze level DofE award while the older ones work towards completing their Silver level.

Older Brigaders can complete the Young Leadership programme by attending the annual ditrct training day and developing thier skills by helping with the younger girls at GB regularly.
