An amazing weekend of fun, fellowship and fund raising at our sleepover!
We started at 10am with some games in the main hall and then on to crafts and cakes, making key rings to take home as a souvineer and a tasty range of cakes in preperation for the coffee morning on Sunday.
Before lunch their was time to think about the promises we be making tomorrow at our Girls' Brigade rededication service and refection on how special it is to be a member of GB.
After a packed lunch, we walked to the bus stop to take the bus in to Millbrook for ten pin bowling and then a return trip home.
Songs round the campfire when we returned before dinner of lasangne, maccaroni cheese, salad and choice of delicious puddingss.
Explorers then went home for a good nights sleep, while the Juniors, Seniors and Brigaders played a Traitors based version of maffia. The Juniors set up tents for an indoor camp and settled down while the Seniors and Beigaders chilled for a bit longer with games and snacks before turning in themselves.
The morning saw breakfast of cereal and french toast before the big tidy up preparing for the church service and coffee morning. Wendy White and Eden led the service with all the girls taking an active part before stating our promise to be honest and true members of the Girls' Brigade and to Seek, Serve and Follow Christ.
The coffee morning was amanzing, rasing approx £250 for our company and GB national funds - thank you to everyone who gave so generously and made the weekend truely amazing - pictures to follow.
