The Seniors Page

Seniors are in School years 7-9 (11-14yrs old) and follow the n:counta programme, a series of "tracks" that cover a range of life skills and relates to guidance from the bible. Each track covers 5 weeks of planned activtiy and is a mixture of Play, Pause, Rewind and Fast Forward fun activites.

Seniors meet between 7:00-8:30pm on Wednesday evenings

Seniors complete at least 4 "Pin Badge topics" a year to gain a Senior Jade center colour circle award each year; Bronze, Silver & Gold.

They can also earn extra badges including the Nights Away badge or Bring a Friend bagge and there is room to display special badges for celebrations like the Kings Corrination.

As part of the Helping Others badge, our Seniors raised money for Twinning Toilets to build 4 new toilets for countires in Africa, especilly for girls and young woman to access to help with their health and hygine needs.

This also contributed to Trinitiy's Eco Church Project as the Seniors organsied a sale of "pre loved clothes" helping us to think about reusing and recyling items we might throw away. 

Pictures of the toilets built from the Seniors fund raising efforts are proudly displayed on the toilet doors at Trinity Church, reminding just how much we take the some of the basic every day necessities for granted.  

Seniors love "chillin" with their friends, playing board games, cooking and being active. They are led by Allison and Louise.

Uniform: They wear;

• Jade green poloshirts,
• Navy GB hoodies
• Trousers or skirts.

Wearing uniform saves their school and other clothes and creates a sense of belonging and team work. We supply also aprons for cooking, crafts and messier activities, encourage long hair to be tied back and wearing of  trainers for sports or physical activties.
