Well done to Charlotte, Emilly, Ellie, Jess, Katie, Megan & Nicki on completing their Bronze Expedition in October 2013. Tracing evidence of the part the New forest played in the world wars, the girls visted Stoney Cross areodrome, the Canadian war memorial, the WWII display and the New forst visitors centre, the Lyndhurst War memorial, found areas of the forest still containing unexploded munitions from WW1 and discovered the part the Ashurst Hospital played in WW2. A great expedition. Thanks to the leaders who made this possible.

The girls completed their GB Leadership training at Foundation Level as part of their Volunteering section  - including planning a weekend sleepover and attending the disitrct training day as well as helping on a company evening.

For the physical section the group learned to play badminton, understanding the rules and scroding as well as improving their techniques. They have now completed all the sections but just need to finish the online recording of the their achievements to gain their awards.
