The Brigaders are the oldest members of the company, starting at 14 years of age or school years 10-13. They can work towards 3 seperate awards. The Brigaders Brooch, Young Leaders Awards and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
To obtain their Brigader Brooch, the girls follow the n:spire programme, choosing the Badge topic from a number of "Channels" they then decide how they will complete the project. We run this along side the Duke of Edinbrough award to gain maximum benefit
The Brigader section is currently lead by Jan and Rachel and are meeting between 7:00 - 8:30pm.

Brigaders recently used Just Dance videos to imrpove their fitness for their Physical Badge, learnt First Aid for their Education Badge,.
complete the Young Leadership training programme towards their Service Badge and joined in weekly discussions and sharing of views and ideas of Christain faith to contribute towards their Spiritual Badge. 5 Brigaders completed their Bronze Duke of Edinbrugh award this year and 2 more have nearly completed Silver. We are busy planning some FUNd raising activities for next Term - come and join us!
Our Brigaders can work towards their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.The award is divided in to 4 sections; Skills, Volunteering, Expedition and Physical and fits in well with the Brigader Brooch award and Young Leadership programme.
Older Brigaders can complete the Young Leadership programme by attending the annual district training day and developing thier skills by helping with the younger girls at GB regularly. See the DofE page for more information.
