The Seniors Page

Seniors are in school years 7-9 (11-14 yrs old) they follow the n:counta programme, a series of "tracks" that cover a range of life skills and relates to guidance from the bible. Each track covers 5 weeks of planned activtiy and is a mixture of Play, Pause, Rewind and Fast Forward fun activites.

 

Seniors meet between 7:00-8:30pm on Wednesday evenings

Recent activties and Badges:

Service: Oransing a clothing recyling event for Charity, rasing over £200.

Phyiscal: Gardening, making and planting containors for food and flowers

Educational: Litter picking inthe loca area - leanrig about recyling

Spirtual: Eco Church  - thinking about God's creation and our role in looking after it.

Last term we had an Eco theme and helped our church gain the Bronze Eco award. THey also enjoy cooking, crafts, trips out and preparing for to commence their DofE award in Brigaders 

 

Seniors love "chillin" with their friends, cooking and being active. They are led by Louise Yates and Allison Head.

 

Uniform: They wear;

  • Jade green poloshirts,
  • Navy GB hoodies
  • Trousers or skirts.

We encourage them to tie back long hair for cooking or other messy activities and trainers for sports or physical activties.

90th Anniversary Celebrations

 

Our GB Company turns 90 this year, havng been formed in 1933 at the then Congregational Church in Totton High Street.

We are celebratied with a special service on 2nd July and hope more celebrations in October for our annual enrolment service
