Totton Carnvial 2018

This was us at this years Totton carnvial were we entered our 1920's themed float - We had a great time on the float collecting money along the route for local charities.

Thanks to the small army of leaders, parents and friends who helped us to build and decorate the float in record time. The weather was great and we sang and waved our way down Salisbury Road toward Eling recreation ground.

A special thanks goes to Peter and Jackie Lewis for the use of their trailer and for towing the float during the carnival possession.

Celebration & Presentation evening

Our annual Celebration & Presentation for our Explorers and Juniors was on the 18th of July with our younger members displaying some of the activties they have been involved with and skills they have developed over the least 12 months;

The girls sang in the choir, acted out the sotry of creation, explained what they had been doing in their groups about our planet and awareness of polution.

Well done to everyone who took part  - it was great.

The girls were presented with their well earned badges and all the leaders where recognised for the valuble contribution they make to GB, not just each Wednesday evening but the planning, prepartion, meetings and training they attend to make this happen - thanks again to all our leaders.

National Boys' & Girls' Brigade  Music Festival

We are delighted that some of our members took part in the National Southern Boys' & Girls' Brigade music festival at Chandlers ford Methodist Church in March 2018.

We had some very favourable comments from the adjudicator for the choir, Junior Records,  and Explorer percussion section.  Eveyone enjoyed the music workshop during lunch and followed up with a visit to the Flipout trampaline park in Chandlers Ford with other members of the GB Hampshire West District.

We hope to have more entries for the music festival in 2019!
